Monday - Friday schedule:

8:00 - 8:30 a.m.: FLEX time.
Please only use this if you have a summer camp or job time conflict.  Open to all ages. No sign-ups in advance this year. Come if you are able. 

Regular Practice Schedule: Please arrive 15 min. prior to these practice time.

8:30 - 9:15 a.m.: Ages 11-12

9:15 - 10:00 a.m.: Ages 9-10

10:00 - 10:30 a.m.: Ages 7-8

10:30 - 11:00 a.m.: Ages 6 & Under

11:00 - 12:00 Noon: Age 13 & Up  

*Subject to Ability Level... swimmers will be evaluated and may be placed in their corresponding ability level group.

The pool and deck will be closed during practices and meets to non-swim team swimmers.

All Blue Herons are encouraged to attend each scheduled practice. Consistency and daily practice are essential for improvement. Note: If on vacation or at camp, the swimmer should give notice to a coach. 

Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated before, after, or during practice. Swimmers arriving early or staying beyond their normal practice time must stay off of the pool deck. Please take care of all property in and around the pool area. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in the swimmer being told to leave the pool area. Coaches are not baby-sitters and practice is for the assigned practice time only. The coaches are not responsible for children who are at the pool during non-practice time. 

Parents – please do not try to discuss your child’s progress with the coaches during practice. You are welcome to make arrangements to discuss any questions or concerns you may have after practice or by email.

• Sunscreen

Your full cooperation is required when thunderstorms are in the area. Pools are extremely dangerous during this weather and your immediate action when directed to evacuate the pool deck is imperative. At our pool you will be directed to the covered area and remain there until the storm passes or until practice has been canceled. In the event of inclement weather, practice cancellation announcements will be made via email and/or website News posting.
