How are we already to the middle of June? Time flies when you’re having fun.
Heron’s Highlights: (written by the coaches)
Hello everyone and happy Friday! We kicked this week off with our first swim meet!! We had a blast seeing everyone show off their Hawaiian gear and swim their hardest. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, our Herons pushed through and made the best of their practice time. On Thursday, we had our team pictures which were amazing. Afterwards, we finished our day with some fun games and races for Sweethaven Gift cards. All in all, a very fun and successful week for the Blue Herons. We can’t wait to see everyone Monday for practice and our next meet. Don’t forget it’s a * DISNEY *theme!

Here is what to expect next week:
Monday, June 14th: Virtual Swim Meet against Temple Hills **DISNEY** Theme
A virtual meet runs the same way as last Monday, except that we swim at our pool and Temple Hills swims at their pool and the results are combined. This means that there should be less heats, making the meet a little bit quicker (we hope!).
The line-up will be sent out by Monday morning. We can’t make changes after 10am. Please let us know asap if you have an evening conflict and we need to remove your child from a relay.
Volunteer Sign Up: A virtual meet will run on only OUR team’s Volunteers… Please make sure you sign up for a spot. We still need positions filled.

Swim a Thon
Wednesday, June 23rd
The swim a thon will take place during practice time… to support the Nashville Dolphins. Stay tuned for an additional email with details and information regarding the Nashville Dolphins.
Team Awards Banquet
Monday, July 12th 5:00pm – 8:00 pm
This will be a catered, pay per family event. We hope everyone can make it and help us celebrate our Inaugural Season.
Important Announcements:
Lost and Found: We will clean out and donate the lost and found pile every Friday after 10:30am. Please make sure you check through the lost and found before then, each week.
Baby Pool: The baby pool area of the pool is closed during swim team time. There is not a lifeguard on duty and we are not allowed to have any swimmers other than swim team members in the pool during swim team time. Thank you for your understanding.
