We need Volunteers! Does volunteering for our swim season interest you? We need a few dedicated individuals who are willing to go thru online training to become a Starter, Meet Referee and/or a Stroke and Turn Official. We will need these volunteer spots filled at every meet, so the more people we have that are trained/certified the better off we will be. If we only have one starter and they happen to be on vacation one week, we will not be able to have a meet that week. Our meets will be held on either Mondays or Tuesdays for the month of June. • Referee: The Referee is the final arbiter of all decisions and questions during the meet and has full authority over all officials, assigning and instructing them. The referee must be thoroughly familiar with all rules and meet procedures. The referee must be certified either by USA Swimming or by the league’s online training. 
• Starter: The Starter has complete control over the swimmers from the time the Referee signals the start of the race until after a fair start has been achieved. The Starter must be certified either by USA Swimming or by the league’s online training. 
• Stroke & Turn Judges: Stroke and Turn Judges determine whether the swimmers perform their strokes and turns in accordance with the prescribed rules. The Judge must be certified either by USA Swimming or by the league’s online training.
